A wine still life in the manner of the Old Masters: the dark background giving the bottles and glass their traditional gravity, the realist approach handling each surface: the dark bottle glass, the depth of the liquid, the reflected light on a nearby cloth, with the attention the genre demands. A canvas that places its subject in the best possible tradition.
Kitchen canvas for homes where wine culture and an appreciation for tradition share the same wall. Works in a kitchen where a richly observed, classically styled wine canvas adds weight and authority, and in a dining room where the deep, traditional palette brings exactly the gravity the space calls for. A piece of complete conviction.
