Vintage Tutsi Stomper - Rwanda - 152.2

African grain stompers are hand-made when tree trunks are  hollowed out and then used to grind grain. We recycle them to use as planters, vases or interior object with a rich history. 

Beautiful patina from age and often seen with metal embellishments and repair works  from when these items where used in the field.
