Black Grey is the go-to 'not-quite-black' from Vallejo's Model Air range — a very dark grey that reads as a softer, more realistic black on scale models. Pre-thinned and airbrush-ready for clean, even coats.
Best for
Scale-realistic blacks
Tyres, tracks and rubber
Deep shadow and pre-shading
On a model, this reads truer than a pure black — the sort of detail that lifts a finished piece.
A believable scale black. Pair with a graphite highlight and a black wash for worn rubber.
