Pineapple, mango, and papaya in cubist treatment: the pineapple's skin resolved into a grid of golden geometric forms, the papaya halved to show its seeds in angular planes, the mangoes arranged in a composition of teal and gold that draws as much from design as from still life. The cubist approach gives the fruit a presence and energy that conventional representation would not find. A canvas of genuine visual force.
Kitchen wall art for homes where the art collection includes something genuinely bold. Works in a kitchen where a striking cubist canvas about tropical fruit earns its place on the wall, and as gold wall art in a dining room where the strong golden and teal planes suit a contemporary, confident interior. A piece with real conviction behind it.
