Art Nouveau brings a particular quality to seafood, the subject's natural forms lending themselves well to the style's preference for organic line and decorative pattern. This canvas has a lobster as centrepiece, scallops and prawns arranged around it, the flowing ornate lines of the composition echoed in the soft blues, pinks, and beiges of the palette. A piece that makes nature and decoration feel like the same thing.
Kitchen wall art for homes where the aesthetic extends from the table to the walls without missing a step. Works in a dining room where an Art Nouveau canvas with a seafood subject and a considered palette suits the available wall, and in any space where decorative elegance and culinary appreciation belong together. A distinguished piece.
