The seafood still life has a long history in kitchen art, and this canvas takes it somewhere unexpected. Fish, crabs, and a nautilus drift through a swirling underwater scene, detailed and recognisable, but set within fantastical currents and iridescent foam that give the whole composition a dreamlike energy. Blues, greens, and white work together as if the ocean is in motion around them.
Kitchen wall decor for homes where the kitchen and the coast share the same sensibility. Works in a dining room where a cool canvas in blues and greens suits the available space, and in any kitchen where the appreciation for seafood extends to what hangs above the table. A piece for those with oceanic tastes.
