The pastoral kitchen scene has delighted illustrators for a long time, and this canvas earns its place in that tradition. A cow in a floral apron, focused on garnishing a gourmet salad, set in a warm pastel kitchen with a sunny meadow visible through the windows: absurd in exactly the right way, and welcoming enough to mean it.
Kitchen prints for homes with a genuine fondness for the whimsical. Works in a family kitchen where a pastoral touch and a light sense of humour sit naturally together, and in a dining room where the art is expected to generate conversation before the food arrives. A sunny piece for sunny rooms.
