The lemon has been cast in many roles in food illustration. This canvas casts it as a beachgoer: vivid yellow lemons in sunglasses, stretched out on miniature beach chairs against a backdrop of soft pastel tones. The cartoon style is fully committed to the premise, and the result is exactly what it promises: kitchen art that makes you smile without apology.
Quirky kitchen wall art for homes that prefer their spaces a little lighter. Works in a kitchen where a flash of yellow and a dose of humour are equally welcome, and in a dining room or family kitchen where the walls are expected to set a mood rather than maintain one. A canvas for rooms that take their enjoyment seriously.
