Kombat UK Wire Saw

This compact, heavy-duty saw handles firewood and shelter poles in an emergency, or on trips where every gram and every inch of pack space counts. It coils down small enough to live permanently in a kit bag, belt pouch or survival tin, adding next to no weight to your pack.

It is best treated as a reliable back-up cutting tool rather than your main saw. Experienced bushcrafters keep one in their emergency kit, while newcomers will find it an inexpensive first step towards a proper survival kit. For regular firewood processing at camp, a folding saw remains the quicker option.
