The Ancestral Recall rolling pin presses an ornate, patterned texture into putty and clay in one clean sweep — perfect for decorative bases, temple floors, tomb complexes and any terrain that wants a bit of carved, old-world grandeur. Instead of scribing detail by hand, you roll it on, and every base comes out matching the last.
Why it's good
Ornate, repeating detail across bases and terrain
Non-stick surface releases cleanly from putty
Consistent results for a whole army's worth of bases
Roll a sheet of textured putty, cut your bases to size, and you've got a cohesive, decorative theme running through the whole force.
Carved, old-world texture without the hand-scribing. Pair it with basing materials or browse more hobby tools.
