A broccoli wearing a top hat is mixing a salad bowl in a contemporary kitchen, and the confidence of the execution makes the scene feel entirely self-evident. The composition has the logic of a cartoon and the finish of a proper canvas: saturated colours, clear lines, an anthropomorphic vegetable that has taken responsibility for its own preparation with apparent satisfaction. It asks nothing more than acknowledgement that this is exactly what a broccoli would do.
Quirky kitchen wall art for anyone who finds anthropomorphised vegetables a legitimate decorative choice. Works above a kitchen counter and in any home where the tone is warm and the inhabitants are not too serious about anything. Suits a colourful or eclectic interior, and any dining space shared with children.
