The FMA Quick Deployment Application Molle Tourniquet is designed to constrict an area to control the circulation of blood for an extended period of time. Made from thick nylon on the main body and a high-quality aluminium handle to ensure excellent grip and stability. It is mounted using a single section of molle onto your plate carrier, belt rig or molle compatible rucksack. The application tourniquet bears the standard 'medic' cross on the front so anyone in your squad knows it is medical equipment. The main body cover is retained with a single metal popper and hook & loop panels to keep it secure as possible with the added assistance of a small grab handle to pull the cover open in a hurry. The aluminium constructed handle has a sewn-in looped fastener which can be attached to hook fastenings for increased stability and reduced movement. Once you've removed the tourniquet, you simply need to loosen the small fastening buckle and pull the main body of the tourniquet out. One face of the tourniquet has a rubberised face to give extra grip around the arm or leg and also when tightening or securing it into place. The tourniquet must not be used for medical purposes.
