Fleur De Lys Enamelled Blazer Button

The fleur de lys, a staple of British heraldry for centuries, is set against enamel on this button. More than a dozen separate stages go into every button, from the first strike to the final finish. It is finished in gold plate with enamel over gilding metal, the traditional alloy for military and blazer buttons. The large button is 2.0cm across and the small button 1.5cm. Available singly, it suits a replacement or a small run of cuff buttons. It brings colour and a heraldic note to a navy blazer.
