Ethiopia holds one of the world's oldest continuous Christian traditions, and its silversmiths have long expressed that faith in metalwork. This Coptic processional cross is hand-cast in silver alloy using the centuries-old lost-wax method, its design echoing the regional styles that give each cross its name.

Look closely and you'll find Star of David motifs — a nod to Ethiopia's link to King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. Individually made, so no two are ever identical.
