Scale inversion is one of surrealism's most reliable instruments, and this canvas applies it to the kitchen with complete commitment. A cutting board becomes a landscape, the kitchen objects that populate it achieving the visual weight of buildings and terrain, the whole composition shifting from daylight to night across a panoramic sweep of colour. It is a familiar space made genuinely strange through the logic of the surrealist tradition rather than ornament or decoration.
Contemporary kitchen wall art for homes with a taste for surrealism applied to domestic subjects. Works as a statement piece wherever a panoramic piece with genuine conceptual ambition earns its place. Suits white walls, clean interiors, and any home where art is expected to have something to say rather than simply fill a wall.
