Elaeagnus x ebbingei Compacta.

A hardy popular evergreen shrub which can be planted to form a  hedge or it can be planted as a standalone shrub. The leaves are grey - green and have an unusual scaly silver underside. Small scented flowers appear in the autumn which are followed by glossy orange berries.
