A round shield carved from a single piece of wood, cut with the geometric patterning historically used across West Africa to dazzle and disorient an opponent in battle — as much a symbol of status as a tool of defence.
As each is hand-carved, size varies slightly piece to piece, wall-mountable with no stand.
