Small leaved tightly grown evergreen box plants. These topiary cones look wonderful planted in containers, either side of a doorway or planted directly in your garden displays to add all year round evergreen structure. They are slow growing and because of this they are very low maintenance and may only need a small clip to keep it in shape twice a year. Otherwise known as Box Hedging or Buxus Sempervirens.
Buxus is susceptible to Box Blight and Box Tree Caterpillar, two common and widespread issues that can affect its appearance and long term health. We strongly recommend beginning a regular preventative treatment regime from the time of delivery, particularly during the growing season, and checking plants routinely for early signs of damage. As these issues can develop quickly due to environmental conditions and are common across the UK, ongoing treatment and monitoring form an essential part of Buxus care.
