Desert Yellow is a warm, sandy khaki-yellow — the natural base for desert warfare, dry earth, canvas and sun-bleached cloth. Reliable and smooth, it's a hard-working earthy tone that grounds a scheme and comes alive with a brown wash in the recesses.
Best for
Desert vehicles and uniforms
Dry earth and sand bases
Canvas and sun-bleached cloth
Base it solid, wash with a warm brown, then drybrush a paler sand for dusty, sun-baked kit.
The sandy base for desert forces. Pair it with a brown wash and a bone drybrush.
