A soft blue-leaning purple that sits right between the two — cooler than a royal purple, warmer than a straight blue. Periwinkle Purple covers in a single coat over white primer with shade and highlight already built in, making it a tidy one-pot answer for robes, cloth and fantasy schemes that want a touch of the unusual.
Best for
Basecoating robes and cloth straight over white primer
Instant shade and highlight in a single pass
Fantasy and wizardly colour schemes
Glazing over lighter blues and purples
A distinctive colour that does the shading for you — one coat and your mages, nobles and mystics are table-ready.
One-pot character. Works a treat over a Speedpaint base with a wash to deepen the folds.
