How to play in a few steps

At the start of a round, one player places one or more cards of the same rank in the center. Each card shows its rank and also indicates how many copies exist in the deck. Jesters may be played with any set, adding flexibility. On your turn, you must either lay a higher-ranked set with the same card count or pass. Play continues around the table until everyone passes; the last to place a set leads the next round. When a player empties their hand, that round ends and seating rearranges to reflect the new hierarchy, with the winner of the round earning the honor of leading the next one.
