Pale Burnt Metal is the subtle heat-tint that lives between clean aluminium and full-on scorched steel. Airbrushed over a natural-metal finish it drops in gentle discolouration — the faint bluing and warmth metal picks up near heat before it really burns — for exhaust surrounds, engine bays and hard-worked panels. It's the kind of restrained effect that makes a finish look observed rather than painted.
